Let's take look at automatically
created information "blast". First of all, you should know that these
blasts, while shown here as an email (as most will be), can also be printed
on your organization's letterhead or postcards using standard paper stock
available anywhere. No need to keep extra letterhead around,
everything prints in one pass.
HEADERS
can be added by creating a new header or selecting from a file of "standard"
headers to which you can add or subtract. These are great for contact
information, special news, or information bearing repeating.
CUSTOM TEXT. This
is text you compose and enter yourself. All other information on a
blast will assemble itself, there is very little, if any, formatting to be
done. When you utilize Auto-Compose, all you do is type your custom
text and click "Auto-Compose" and all other details are added, placing your
custom text within the other details. This makes composing and sending
an email blast to 100 recipients a matter of minutes. A great tool for
leveraging your time!
FOOTERS.
Much the same as
headers, footers are selectable from a list and can be created, edited, or
deleted. This is a great location for adding contact data where a
reader can get further information on the topic at hand. Also, it is
of tremendous value in giving your sponsors additional exposure.
UNSUBSCRIBE. As an matter of
protecting the integrity of your email list, an "unsubscribe" technique
should always be placed at the bottom of every email message.
This will give you another mechanism for gauging feedback.
